Description
Carolinas IT is the premier provider of
computer networking service in the Central NC area. We
design, install and maintain computer networks for business
clients who either don't have their own IT staff or need
assistance on projects. We focus on providing premium
quality customer service and quick response. We currently
have an open position for an outside sales representative.
This employee will focus on business development and
assisting potential and existing clients with technical and
business challenges. We're seeking a high-energy
professional with an enthusiastic outlook and
entrepreneurial attitude. Preferred candidates will be
experienced self-motivated professionals who can sell
network consulting and integration services to businesses in
Central NC area.
Sales experience with Microsoft, Cisco, IBM, HP, Novell, and
Citrix in the LAN/WAN environment is preferred but not
required. We are a Cisco Premier and Microsoft Gold Partner.
We are willing to train the right candidate on technologies
and the products and services that we offer.
Duties
In this position, you will be responsible
for:
- Developing, tracking and closing sales leads
- Cold calling into assigned market to find new
customers and projects
- Regular meetings with assigned customers to promote
the solutions and services of the company
- Meeting or exceeding monthly sales quotas
- Networking with other business professionals
- Providing sales support for existing client business
relationships
- Working with technical staff to generate proposals
- Presenting proposals to clients
- Working as part of a team to develop informational
seminars and marketing material.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team oriented
environment where strong organizational and social
skills are essential
- Individual must be a self starter and have internal
motivation
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of various network components and software
from a functional standpoint
