RALEIGH –  June 7, 2010- Carolinas IT, Inc. is pleased to announce  the addition of Lori Harrington and Scott Tyler to our rapidly growing Healthcare Division.  Scott joins Carolinas IT with a background in business development and sales, with proven success in consultative business-to-business sales environments in the Surgical Devices and Pharmaceutical industries.   As a small business owner for five years prior to joining Carolinas IT, Scott has developed a keen focus on linking supplier and customer requirements to drive Strategic Partnership excellence.  Scott is joining the Carolinas IT Healthcare Informatics team to specialize in implementation consulting.

Lori Harrington brings over 19 years of technical and clinical operational experience to the Carolinas IT team.   Her primary focus has been on operations and quality improvement through the application of Information Technology and Business Processing Redesign.   Lori has over 7 years of clinical systems implementation and support experience with various clinical applications and, most recently worked a Business Systems Analyst/Specialist for WakeMed Health and Hospitals.  Lori will fill the role of Sr. Healthcare Informatics Architect within the Healthcare Informatics team.

RALEIGH –  November 11, 2009- SyTec Business Solutions, Inc., the region’s premier provider of Managed Network Services, is pleased to announce a corporate name change to Carolinas IT.  This transition is one of many initiatives, including relocating to a larger corporate headquarters and an enhanced Network Operations Center, that are designed to position the firm for continued outstanding service to a growing client base.

The transition is a change of brand only; there have been no changes to the corporate ownership, employees, or organization.  According to company president Mark Cavaliero, “The branding of the company is something we felt we needed to evaluate as we experience growth and prepare for the future.  The Carolinas IT name helps eliminate potential confusion with other organizations and more accurately reflects our firm’s focus and identity.”

RALEIGH –  October 20, 2009  - SyTec  Business Solutions, Inc., the region’s premier provider of  managed networking services, is pleased to announce  that the firm’s corporate office has been relocated to 1600 Hillsborough Street in Raleigh.   The new 6,500 square feet facility will provide more room for an expanded Network Operations Center, Call Center, and Help Desk, as well as larger spaces for the sales and engineering teams.

Announces New Systems Engineer, Caleb Ternak

RALEIGH –  SyTec  Business Solutions, Inc. is pleased to announce  that it has expanded its network support team, hiring Caleb Ternak as a Systems Engineer.  Caleb has a background in network administration and desktop support for business critical network environments.  Experienced with Active Directory and Exchange 2003/2007, Caleb is proficient in network, server and email administration.  He holds multiple Microsoft Certifications, including Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).

Caleb will join the Managed Services group, supporting the expanding base of organizations that depend on SyTec for complete network monitoring and support as part of the NetOp program.

Announces New Office Purchase

RALEIGH –  SyTec  Business Solutions, Inc., a Raleigh based IT support firm, is pleased to announce the purchase of a new office building at 1600 Hillsborough Street.   With the ever increasing need for network support and the recent surge of demand for Managed Services, SyTec is taking action to accommodate new hires and prepare for continued growth.

The new location, almost twice the size of SyTec’s current headquarters, will provide more room for an expanded Network Operations Center, as well as larger spaces for the sales and engineering teams.  According to Company President, Mark Cavaliero, “This purchase is the result of our employees’ professionalism, initiative, and dedication to being an IT Support company that consistently meets and exceeds expectations.  It will allow us to continue our tradition of providing outstanding support services to our expanding client base.”

SyTec plans to move to 1600 Hillsborough Street in the early fall.  1410 Hillsborough Street, SyTec’s current office, is now available for sale.
