North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) K-12
Carolinas IT participates in the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) K-12 Contract. This contract allows K-12 schools in NC to purchase Cisco products and services at a negotiated and discounted rate from Carolinas IT. The contract allows Local Education Agencies (LEA) to provide high-density, high-throughput, reliable, Wi-Fi access at a density of approximately one access point (AP) per 20 students in all schools that have opted to participate. As a selected service partner, Carolinas IT can install previously purchased technology under this contract. The contract allows as many public schools in North Carolina as possible to use Race to the Top (RttT) grant funds leveraged with FCC E-Rate category two discounts. Carolinas IT assists schools and libraries with assessments for solutions to IT needs.

The USETPA is an alliance that was formed to leverage purchasing power for K-12 Public and Private Schools, Libraries, and Head Start Organizations. Carolinas IT is listed as an authorized vendor for USETPA.
