About the Presenters

Chris Bisnett, Co-Founder and Chief Architect, Huntress Labs
Chris is a veteran security researcher with more than a decade of experience in offensive and defensive cyber operations. While serving with the NSA RedTeam, he attacked government networks and systems to identify and remedy vulnerabilities. He is also a recognized Black Hat conference trainer and has taught his “Fuzzing For Vulnerabilities” course at several events around the world. Prior to founding Huntress Labs, Mr. Bisnett co-founded LegalConfirm, LLC where he led product design and development until the company was acquired in 2014.

Tyler Booker, Associate Auditor, Carolinas IT
Tyler is an Associate Auditor with Carolinas IT. He works with the Audit and Compliance team in completing Security Risk Assessments, Microsoft Licensing Audits, and other compliance-related assessments for clients while also executing the internal audit function for the company to remain compliant with AICPA requirements to maintain their SOC 2 Type 2 certification. He has an undergraduate degree in Accounting with a concentration in Internal Audit from NC State University. Tyler successfully obtained the ISACA CSX Cybersecurity Fundamentals certification in 2016. He continues to work with Carolinas IT to build a set of core competencies in IT governance, information systems security assessment and systems validation.

Stephen Cavell, Trace Security
Stephen has been with TraceSecurity for over 7 years working in business development and partner management. His extensive sales experience and knowledge of the software industry allow him to create lasting partnerships with clients and keep them well informed on the many services Trace offers. At TraceSecurity, Stephen specializes in consulting for a myriad of security assessments including Wireless Assessments, Social Engineering engagements, IT Risk Assessments, IT Audits, and more.


Joe Dickinson, Partner, Smith Anderson Law Firm
Joe Dickinson is a seasoned data use, privacy and security lawyer at Smith Anderson with more than 25 years of business and legal experience advising technology companies as well as healthcare and government entities. Joe’s experience includes helping companies develop and implement data privacy and security programs, HIPAA compliance, data breaches and governmental privacy-related investigations, technology licensing and transfer, contracts involving data flows, intellectual property and information technology, and conducting internal investigations related to corporate compliance. Joe leads the firm’s Data Use, Privacy and Security practice and is Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC®).

Drew Green, Director of Information Technology and Security Services, Thomas, Judy, and Tucker, P.A.
Drew Green has been involved with information technology for the past 20 years. He has experience as a Penetration Tester, IT Director, Systems Administrator, and Security Researcher. He holds many industry certifications including CISSP, MCSE, CEH, and OSCP. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology from East Carolina University and an Associate’s Degree in Information Security from Wake Technical Community College. Drew is a Core Team Leader of the North America branch of AGN International, a world-wide network of financial organizations. He has spoken across the country at various tech conferences and events hosted by the ISSA, ISACA, AGN, and others, on varying subjects related to information security.

Greg Manson, Director of Audit and Compliance, Carolinas IT
Greg has 19 years’ experience as an IT Director for organizations in compliant environments including healthcare, medical device, and pharmaceuticals. Greg has an undergraduate degree in Computer Information Systems from Indiana University and an MBA from UNC-Wilmington. Greg is an ISACA Certified Information Systems Auditor, passing his exam in the 90th percentile.

Alexi Pappas, Auditor, Carolinas IT
Alexi is an Auditor with Carolinas IT. Formerly a Network Security and Compliance Manager for a SaaS startup business in the Triad, she has a bachelor’s degree in Network Security Management and is pursuing her CISA and CISSP certifications. Alexi has an extensive background in agile product development controls, SOC 2 Type II Audit Reporting and has consulted for vendors on compliance strategies, audit policies, and regulations. Lexi is a leading expert on IT compliance with over 5 years’ experience in IT-control and operations.
