Carolinas IT welcomes four new employees to our team. All of them are Technical Support Specialists on our Managed Services team:
Garrett Cobb is part of our Computer Builds Team. Garrett previously managed a team of delivery drivers under a private FedEx contract. After building his own computer from the ground up, he decided to make a career shift in his life and found himself studying for IT certifications. In his free time he can be found under the hood of his truck, sipping coffee on the patio, or playing games with friends.
Austin Greene is a North Carolina native, who has also lived in Colorado and Massachusetts. Austin has been working on Macintoshes since he was 5. In 1999, he built his first Windows PC while continuing to use Macs. Austin has worked for a few IT Help Desks in the past as well as Apple for three years. He spends most of his free time with his daughter and has a range of hobbies. He enjoys pulling various pieces of software apart to figure out how the pieces fit together. He also enjoys watching movies, playing video games and working on his 2003 20th Anniversary VW Rabbit GTI.
Josh Khan has previously worked as a Systems Administrator in a DOD environment as well as an Engineer at another MSP. Josh has lived throughout the US but North Carolina has always been his home. He loves playing guitar and has a passion for electronics. He and his wife Jenny have a German Shepherd named Cody. Outside of work, he enjoys going to scenic parks and enjoying the thrills of the roller coasters and other attractions at Busch Gardens.
John Lanzer will be working the overnight shift for Managed Services. He began his IT career in 2000 providing network support for local government and has continued to work for various organizations providing systems admin functions as well as network design and implementation. He currently owns Xpert Computer Service & Repair in Cary which provides a full array of repair services for the local area. John lives in Apex with his wife Suzanne and their two children. In his spare time, John is a beekeeper with several hives, a “tinkerer” when it comes to anything technology related, and a fan of retro video games.
